Cobb's Wren

After the lunch stealing pressures of dealing with the Johnny Rooks yesterday, a different challenge today. The Cobb's Wren is a Falklands endemic, it is limited to only a few islands in the Falklands (those without rodents!), it flits around very energetically and it is very small. Easy to photograph then. :-)

I came across this individual foraging in the rocks at Ballast Beach on the west side of Carcass Island. He wasn't at all interested in what I was eating but was happy to find his own.
