A Bird in the hand...........

Visiting Jim and Liz this weekend and brought some plants through to help them plant out the garden.

This little fellow kept Jim and I amused while we worked in the garden today.

He was obviously delighted that we had disturbed all this soil and he was constantly picking out juicy slugs for his two ( very grown-up) babies and feeding them in the garden next door.

Jim, who had worked very hard digging the plot next to his house decided it would be a good idea to have a rest and feed the Blackie with some bread .

I couldn't believe how tame this blackbird was!

Got a lot of gardening done for Liz and Jim and like him I am very happy!!!!
