Day of action

Today was a day of action for public sector workers striking against planned cuts to pensions.

I wasn't involved as I am not in one of the unions that walked out but I was expecting to see more evidence of action.

I saw a grand total of 3 strikers at my place of work an at this very fancy very new and expensive looking union offices there wasn't a single person or placard.
