I have quite honestly never experienced wind quite like it. We left early doors from Edinburgh after the wind and rain on Saturday night battering the house, in lets be honest, fairly food spirits.

We got to the final ridge, about 60m from the summit had to turn back. The exposed ridge with a sheer drop on either side just wasn't worth the risk, and when you are still being blown whilst prone on your stomach...you just know the wind is too strong.]

Still, a lovely day with some (very) fresh air.
