Low lying bridge

After dropping L at the gym this afternoon, I took a quick drive past the low lying bridge to see how high the water had risen. I wasn't the only one. There was a steady stream of cars and pedestrians coming down for a closer look.
I think the water level was at about 7.6 m at this stage. It's not too bad over our side of town, but I won't be going home the way I came into town. The water across the Jacks Creek road was over wheel height!
Cricket was cancelled today because the fields were completely innundated with water.
