G o o d : bye
Our wondrous bubble of a scrappled haven of colourful chaos has been such a fine home to us for the last several years. It's huge [falling apart] windows look longingly out onto the very park that I have fallen in love with + worked in so lovingly for all these years. It's crumbling walls [mainly caused by bicycle love] have been disguised by vast quantities of pictures of things that we like to look at, with lashings of gloss paint dripping down every door frame and the endless corners of nostalgic clutter [mainly from skips] formed the charming personality of our hub on Platt Lane. It took some time and some sorting, but all of these quirks that had become our everyday, have now gone.
And now it is just us, for one last picture, with our few savoured belongings that will accompany us to the mountains. [And a storm outside]
Dear Flatty, we have loved living in you and I hope your next fillings will like you all the same.
