Schiste

Went up to the land today to meet the French architect and the builder and discovered the reason for the go-slow on the foundations. After 3 weeks of rain we have a small stream flowing through the rocky schiste onto the very spot we'll be laying cement. Pshaw! So, we're praying for the wind to change direction and dry it all up. Next inspection is next Tuesday. Dam, damm, damn.
