Saw heavily pregnant friend and newly opened Portrait Gallery. Both were quite radiant. Swam more lengths than before, saw GPs (I have been referred, only 4 weeks after coming back to the UK), wondered why some Edinburgh churches have no steeples.

A friend of a friend thought that this steeple-ful Episcopalian church was dedicated to St Martin of (the bus) Tours.
