Hog Wild!

Should hedgies be hibernating by now?
Maybe it's an indication of how mild the weather has been of late that this one was still out & about this morning. I guess the longer they can be eating & building up fat reserves, the greater their chances of survival through the winter.
I wish it lived in our garden. We've no shortage of slugs for it!
