All that glitters
Well the run up to Christmas has begun in earnest. There is a Fayre at school tomorrow so there has been a mad dash to get things made to sell at it and to get the school tree decorated with decorations made by the children.
Consequently today saw me making decorations with all 60 children in the year group (not all at once I hasten to add!!) They also all got to make mince pies to be sold tomorrow. A productive day but bioy am I shattered now!
These are folded stars, coloured and then decorated with glitter. Due to shortage of time I did the glittering rather than letting the children do it.
My parents still have a similar star made by me when I was around 8 years old at school in Newport, South Wales. Wonder if these will last nearly 40 years!!
