Birthday surprises

Have had a lovely day day thanks to my family and friends. Cards , presents and surprises. Ali and Euan arrived with a beautiful calendar full of Euan's photos over the last 10 months. Ali had also compiled a dvd of some of my special photos over the last year. I was quite overcome. Then Euan was " too hot " and Ali removed his jumper to reveal this t shirt which she had printed with " Happy Birthday Gran" on it. Added to that she made a beautiful heart shaped cake which we all enjoyed.

Fiona then arrived after lunch with beautiful roses and a gift bag with lovely gifts from Ali, Phil ,Lyall ,Fiona, and Andrew. She had arranged a half day holiday as a surprise.

Andrew , Lyall and Phil arrived in time for dinner which JD helped prepare and serve. He also baked cakes last night! (Thank you also for the beautiful necklace! x)

All in all a lovely day. I feel very lucky to have such a thoughtful and generous family. I nearly forgot "the girls" , Rona and Isla who behaved impeccably throughout and no occasion would be complete without them!
