Advent Sofa Jumping

The first of the month brings the excitement of opening the first day on the advent calender. It was only yesterday that I realised that we had not got any advent calendars this year but luckily I was near out local toy shop that sells the proper ones without chocolate.

Baby has taken some big steps in his development somewhat brought on by Wife attendance at a wedding at the weekend but he has not really looked back since. However this change has had an early morning side effect, and when this side effect means Baby sees me leave for work he tends to get upset. Another side effect has been he is more clingy with me. Obviousley the early morning effect does not just effect him as he then has to wake up his big sister.

Anyway them getting up is one thing but then getting them moving and dress and down for breakfast is something else. So the power of an advert calender is a wonderful motivator to get them downstairs. This is the first year for buying one for each little one. When I got home they enjoyed showing me the pictures from day 1.

Toddler Girl got a snowman and Baby Boy got a jack in the box.

After that Toddler girl repeatedly jumped off the sofa.
