Beacon Blip!

Feeling better today so had a quick stroll up here.

The first time I went up here I was about five and was brought by my parents for a family day out.

I recall that before we set off from Kendal they had let me have my first taste of kellogs all bran, I made it all the way to the top and then exploded! Dock leaves were acquired from near by and the best was made of a bad job(so to speak).

Back then there were no trees around the beacon so you had panoramic views all round, don't think I noticed as I was kicking a football! Now we have trees everywhere blocking the view during the summer months.
