There are two sides to every story
We were lucky enough to go an advanced driver training course at Manfield (a big racetrack). The end of the day was topped off with "HOT LAPS" where you get strapped into a racecar and get hurtled around the track at up to 220km per hour. A nerve wracking experience for any remotely nervous passenger.
I love the difference in expressions, Sonja on the right had just got out of the car and being a girl racer she was LOVIN it. Annette on the left a tiny little bit reserved in anticipation of the coming adhrenalin rush.
It was one incredible feeling flying around the trackat 180km ... fastest I had ever been in a car. I was scared to begin with by kept telling myself the driver (Phil Blythe) had a vested interest in not crashing the car!
Awesome experience and one I won't be too sad to not have again.
