Duck pond? More like duck lake, but duck pond sounded better. I didn't have my beloved Canon on me, only my compact Panasonic. And what a grim, grey day - worst day for photography, especially when you're out & about like I was. This is Holmleigh Garden Centre just on the border of Cornwall, a place my friend Sue & I stumbled on a few years back & always visit yearly - at Christmas time - to see the decorations & to buy anything interesting - garden centres now as I'm sure you've all noticed, don't only sell plants & things for the garden, they sell EVERYTHING - usually naff stuff, but you tend to pick up a bargain or something good here & there - this place has a great food shop.... I managed to find some nice things! :)

My dad did see my mum today, she so wanted to come home, but needed an X ray this evening, but hopefully, finger's crossed, she'll be coming home tomorrow! Unfortunately the ward she's in now as it's usual Christmas virus of vomiting *rolls eyes* so the quicker my mum is out of there, the better! She was a lot brighter today, a lot more talkative, & so wanting her own bed, my dad's cooking (he's a wonder in the kitchen) & a change of scenery, not to mention fresh air!

Thanks again for the continued support & hugs. One day I'll catch up with you all, even though I've had a day off, I still feel exhausted... so looking forward to my bed again tonight :D xxxx
