This girl was hanging around Queen Street, wrapped up against the elements. I don't think it's too hard to twig her publicity angle.
The Scottish National Portrait Gallery was re-opened today and I spent a few minutes there to see what all the fuss was about. What I found odd were the staff spotting my DSLR and reminding me at every opportunity that I couldn't take photographs inside the galleries. Maybe it's just me, but I have never felt compelled to take a photograph of gallery exhibits. I mean, what's the point of photographing someone else's photograph?
By the way, I thought the photographs of contemporary Scottish figures on the ground floor 'Contemporary Gallery' were very good.
