Advent

The kids opened their advent calendars today. Last night Louis was worried I would get downstairs before him and eat his chocolate. I assured him I wouldn't do that. The chocolates get bigger the closer it gets to Christmas. Louis suggested he start at the 24 and count backwards. He doesn't think too far ahead.

Came home early so we could go to the school fair. The kids visited Santa and Louis was very shy and asked for a surprise. Alana was a bit worried her friends might see her going to see Santa but the desire for a small gift of chocolate won. She has not admitted any drop in belief yet.

At bath time Louis told me he is very excited for Christmas. That's how it should be.
