Zoom, zoom, zoom (or office worker guilt)

As I composed yet another email at work this afternoon I was distracted by a high whining noise over my shoulder. Before I knew a few of my co-workers had rushed into my office. 'It's an air show' they said and indeed it was. Red and white planes were spinning and diving in formation just outside my window.

Quick as a flash I abandoned my desk and went outside to see if I could capture the planes before they left. Met a few of my slightly guilty fellow office workers hanging out the front. Felt a bit like a naughty school girl as I stood watching the planes sore. Why do moments like this make us feel guilty and gleeful at the same time?
