Morning Blue
What a beautiful morning...bright sunshine, low humidity, blue sky...perfect!
Decided to go to the local botanical garden and take some shots...I've been meaning to capture a bunny for so long now...as I was walking back to the car, one just hopped right in front of me - I snapped a few shots and then he was off... the rest of the shots.
Last day of recipes...Im going to go w/ my favorite potato salad. Im really not a potato fan - I'll eat sweet every once in a while, but I love this recipe. I dont like traditional potato salad at all - but this is great - just bursting with flavor...and my most requested side dish ;) Im sure I'll feature recipes here and again, but I hope you've all enjoyed a taste of my favorites...
VORTEX BAR AND GRILL WORLD FAMOUS POTATO SALAD
CHEF SHANE WILLOUGHBY (ATLANTA)
4 pounds red potatoes
1/2 pound celery
1 small red onion
1 1/4 cups sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 1/4 tablespoons Lawry's Seasoning Salt
salt/pepper to taste
Cook potatoes with skins on at a slow boil for 1 hour. Cool potatoes with cold water, then cut into 1/8ths.
In a separate container, add together finely diced onions and celery, pepper, salt, seasoning salt, sour cream, mayonnaise and red wine vinegar. Mix well.
Add contents of separate container to the cooled potatoes and mix thoroughly. Chill before serving.
