Caliopsis

These bright yellow flowers can be spotted in many, many areas where I live.

The story was that someone threw seeds from a train and over the many years since, they have seeded, blown in the wind and scattered afar.

When I was a child I remember them blooming only along the railway line for miles but now they are on the many footpaths and in the suburban areas.

They do make a beautiful show. I now realise I should have blipped on mass rather than two flowers.
