The things you learn

Up early this morning to take Sue back to Inverness to catch the train to Manchester Airport as she's heading home to BC tomorrow.

Anyway, we were out walking the other day when she spotted an old 'telegraph' pole, within minutes she had it stripped of a few of it's insulators to take back to her husband.

He's a keen collector. Doh!

Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Right enough I did a Google and low and behold there is 580,000 references. This is serious business. They even have their own Association in the USA.

Have I just discovered a new income stream? Ebay here I come.
