Some Days

Just a Second

The fairway of the second hole on the Fidra course, at Archerfield.

It has been a beautiful, if cold, afternoon following the first frost of the winter thois morning.

We spent the day picking-up leaves (again) and every time we took the trip to the tip (composting area) we passed a small group of roe deer who showed no fear, but stood in their attractive grouping and watched as we drove by!

Towards the end of the day I got my camera and went to blip the sitting target deer, who had, I repeat, not moved all day!

So here is a golf course shot.

View it large

The deer are behind one of those trees, can you see them?

I am considering an investment in a large rifle and some taxidermy equipment.

Is this how Wile E. Coyote got started?
