A festive feast fit for a community!

What a day! Cannot believe we did it! The photo shows just some of the dishes prepared and cooked by the children for our community feast! A very enjoyable (albeit exhausting afternoon) indeed!

Three beautiful things:
A frosty morning - complete with mist rolling down the tidal river.

Kindness - a visitor, who had come to the school to survey our windows, helped us prepare for our feast by giving me a lift to get something for the feast. Completely out of his way but didn't mind at all.

The tidal road - due to the act of kindness I could look at all the wildlife along the tidal road. An egret was happily fishing, a herd of visiting swans, including one very rare type and a flock of ducks happily waddling across the road in front of us. Will definitely go back for some photos during the Christmas holidays.
