Springtime in the Rockies

Today my Gran celebrated her 98th birthday (which would have been my Nanas birthday too).

She marked the day by going out for lunch followed by a house full - including a visit from her toddling great great grandaughter.

She always says that despite outward appearances, she feels like she was still 18 on the inside - and is a big advocate of the saying 'if you frown, you frown on your own. Smile and the world smiles with you'. I guess she comes from good stock, the kind that don't feel sorry for themselves and 'just get on with it'.

(My bliptitle comes from the song which was playing at the dance hall where my gran met my grandad, which we managed to track down and give to her as her birthday present)
