Have Van , Will Travel

Thank you so much for all your very positive comments and so many hearts for the little blue tit. Quite overwhelmed!!!

Today we had a long meander down Loch Fyne to Tarbert, then down to Skipness and over the hill to a wee house near Carradale where we had bought a second hand camper van.
Needless to say we didn't take the long and winding road back via Campbeltown as we did last week. John drove the van and I followed in our car. Driving in convoy isn't exactly the best thing to do on these wee , twisty roads as our good friend snapper will tell you.

The main excitement was meeting two horses who had escaped from their field and a very anxious owner in her landrover trying to capture them. Along came Postman Pat in his van so there was amajor traffic tram on this single track road. However after some frantic manoevering by the horsey lady the road was clear, fortunately the passing place was nearer Postman pat who happily reversed allowing our two vehicles to head off back to the main road several miles up hill , downhill , twisting like a helter skelter. How Alistair ( moments in time ) does this road regularly, particularly in winter I do not know. perhaps he has a helicopter.

So off course tonight's blip justhad to be our camper van which will now remain safely in the drive way until the spring.
