Girls' night

I have no idea who took this picture, but I am glad they did as it's a handy reminder of a lovely night when some pals came round for eating, drinking, talking and laughing.

This pic shows Anya and Bernie, the rest of us were propped around the island drinking champagne & sloe gin cocktails. The plates on the table were about to receive the mussels component of moules et frites. We had a super-abundance of puddings (thanks Cathryn and Rachel!) as well as a birthday cake (thanks, Molly and Liz!) followed by a massive cheeseboard (thanks, Alison!) We ate and drank far too much, for far too long. It was great.

Lest I forget, Lindsey, Susan, Pamela and Gina were also there to make the evening special.
