After the storm

Just over a week ago there was some huge flooding over on the West Coast, we went for a walk down the beach this afternoon and it was like an Alladins cave of driftwood (if you like that sort of thing). We got some nice bits of wood to put through the plants and also managed to move a large piece of driftwood that looked like it would make a nice bench ( project for another day)

Kea has finally fallen asleep after acting like a hyperactive kid since we got here last night although it has taken
2 x 4 km runs and 2 swims to get her to calm down. I think it may be because we did not come over last week.
