In the Garden (W)

I am not a rose person, they require too much attention.
Exceptions are old fashioned farm/cottage roses, those big, thick beauties with that gentle scent that brings back childhood memories ...
And there is this crazy monster here, absolutely indestructible, I chop the beastie down to ground level every two years. It will be due again this autumn.
The pure white blossoms last 1 day in all their glory, then they fall to bits.
I managed to find a spot with a few good ones.
Today 'W' is for Wedding Day, yep that's what it's called. I suppose the white and the one-day-wonder combined made someone think up that name ...
