Caring for retired greyhounds

We have a retired greyhound centre in the next village and today they were taking part in the pre-Christmas village fair. I'd gone to collect my paper and a few items from the farm shop and hadn't realised that this event was happening. Fortunately I'd just managed to take a couple of images before the rain came down.

One year ago (see small image): we'd just returned from Australia to mountains of snow. This year we've hardly had any frost and the Tropaeolum is still flowering in the garden.
