Too attached

So, the last twenty four hours have been very emotional in the blue and amber house. Poor Ron had a poorly eye and had to go to the vet. We've had a tormented night waiting to hear if he had survived an operation to remove the eye. I hadn't realised quite how attached I'd become till we were faced with losing him.
Glad to report that he's home and eating newspaper - all is well.
