Red Berries - Stranvaesia - (Photinia davidiana)

I have blipped these red berries before. but usually they are associated with a bird blip. I was once told long ago that this was a Rowan tree although I was never sure this was correct. The identification from iSpot suggests that it is a Stranvaesia (Photinia davidiana). All I know is that once the weather gets really cold the thrushes and Red Wings will strip it of berries in a few days!

It rained heavily in the night, but now the sky really is that blue and the sun is shining; this has been cropped, but other than that nothing has been done to enhance the colours.
