Route

Just a quick snapshot today, taken whilst out for a run in my haste to get back in time for the rugby (Wales v The Wallabies). My money's on the Welsh as I can't see Shane Williams bowing out quietly... Back to the photo: it was taken on the Dalmeny Estate behind my house. Built on this estate is the comically named Barnbougle Castle, a tower house dating way back the crusades. According to legend, the land is haunted by a howling dog, and on dark and windy nights (pretty common in these parts) it can still be heard at Hound Point. Furthermore, when the death of any of the Lords is about to take place, a black dog appears on the point. Spooky! Although i'm sure any drama would be slightly lost if said hound was, in fact, discovered to be a sausage dog...
