Winter Moon.

M and I took a walk along the beach today despite the freezing wind; there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the sky was china blue. Just a sliver of translucent moon hanging like a Christmas bauble over the lighthouses.

It is so good to have him back. Tomorrow we're going to buy a Christmas tree and decorate the flat (well, it is now officially December, and we'll be going down to Yorkshire for a week in just over 2 weeks!) - I'm hoping to get The Snowman on the TV and make some mince pies.

(I bet M is wondering why he came home from that oil rig...)
