And so it begins
When we moved in the little plot of land opposite allowed us a less restricted view towards Stanley village. The patch by the road was owned by neighbours and made the patch behind the fence difficult to develop. It grew wild and the local bird life prospered on berberis and crab apple, sloe and blackberry.
Unfortunately, our neighbours decided to sell the little strip of land, unlocking the piece behind and now a developer has moved in to build 3 houses on the tiny plot [They wanted to build 4!].
Our little haven for nature has become a building site and the birds will have to look elsewhere for there winter food supply.
