Reflections

A lazy morning which was much needed. We've moved offices this week and Mrs Smith was in hospital overnight on Tuesday so a bit of down time was good. Not that it ever lasts long though and at lunchtime me and Eve jumped on the train and popped into Edinburgh for some culture, we did a tour of the City Art Gallery, Fruitmarket Gallery and the recently re-opened Portrait Gallery. Eve was very patient explaining to me the sub-textural undercurrents in some of the more challenging works in the Fruitmarket.

We even managed a peek in at the humongous Christmas tree in The Dome.

Home in time to have dinner together before waving Ruby off on a sleepover with her pal.
