What better way to end a great day!

There's no-one to beat an old stager. Even in his mid seventies Tommy Steele can wow an audience with his stage presence. He very much deserved the standing ovation offered to him at the end of today's matinee performance of 'Scrooge'. The whole performance was a treat- beautifully staged to depict the Dickensian story at its very best. Tommy Steele brought his own amazing energy and humour to the role. He is a legend in his own lifetime.

After such a theatrical treat, it's feet up with the contents of the above plate washed down with a good measure of Metaxa!
