For the first time this season it was dark enough for the flood lights to be on from before the start of the match.

None of your edge of town flatpack indentikit arena bowl stadiums here, Griffin Park is slap bang in the middle of housing streets. Along with the famous four corner pubs of course.

Brentford lost 1-0 in the FA Cup to high-flying (but still non-league) Wrexham. Another poor showing, rallied towards the end but too little too late. Time to concentrate on the league...
