View From The Office

Today was my first flight in our new airborne atmospheric research aircraft. Its a converted Cessna 421 twin prop and is fitted out with state of the art instrumentation.

Spent most of the time at 25000' flying up to Aberdeen and back to Cranfield airport. Much of the kit worked well, although there are a few wrinkles to iron out before the next flight.

This image was taken just before landing back at Cranfield, my seat faces aft which why the view is of behind the engine cowling.
