Lone flower

Its been a long trip since 16th March 2008, blip number 1. Lots of changes and lots of pictures, hopefully the pictures are a bit better
Today I have spent the day going through my parent's house, looking for memories and items I could make use of in my new house. My parents lived in the house for over 25 years, until my father died some years ago and my mother moved earlier this year. Looking through his workshop where he spent many hours I found many things that touched the heart strings, including some of his wood carvings, partially completed, and a care schedule for his roses for 2005 and 2006. The sawn off stools that the girls used when they worked with their granddad were still there. All rather poignant.
This is the only Arum lily out in their garden. These flowers have been a feature of my mothers garden for many years. They were also in my garden before I moved and currently I have several plants growing in a pot ready to be transplanted into our new garden
My parents moved into this house, when he retired, to start a new life. We will be doing the same soon. What goes around comes around all rather circular
