A-A-A-Choo

Big sneezing from Cameron due to sun, yes strong sun! But it was cold too, as we walked along the stalls of the Farmers Market. There was a celebration in the street, due to the opening of the new paving in the High Street, yes we know how to pick things to celebrate here in Perth. LOL! I think the celebrations were due to the time it took to complete a relatively short stretch of road! I am sure it was on the go in Feb/March, as they had to stop a while due to the large snowfall. Anyway, it's finished, and the provost cut a ribbon! A pipe band marched on and people entertained the shoppers!

My daughter asked me to take something back to M&S today. Ben had a pair of dungarees on for a couple of hours and the stiching that held the button came away all frayed, so I took it back. Imagine my surprise when the assistant told me that in future when taking something back to wash it first!!! I was incredulous!! Well I said if I had bought a dry clean only dress that then burst on the first wear would I pay to have it dry cleaned before taking it back. NO!! Oh, it's because people have to handle it when it's taken to the returns says she. Oh yeah, they are going to pick up malaria or TB from a little pair of dungarees and top that was only on for 2 hours and had no marks on it I said. Bonkers rules! I didn't mean to offend you the assistant said. Huh. All she needed to say to finish me off would have been - is the refund going on your M&S card??? Luckily it was paid with vouchers and got a voucher back.

It really gets back back up when buying something they ask if I am paying with my M&S card? I just act as if they haven't spoken now as I have gone through all the replies possible. And NO I don't have an M&S card.

There was something called A Braw Day Oot at the library for kids today which many people won't understand. Translated is A Good Day Out, and it was all things Scottish and Cameron really enjoyed it.
