Interpretation

Had a really nice walk with the family in Portishead (my home town) this afternoon, as the sun was setting.

I've always noticed this statue when we pop down to the marina, but I've never found out exactly what it's all about. I guess as it's the marina, it's probably water related, so maybe he's swimming....

But when I look at it, I see a man hanging on. As if he's not stuck down with gravity like the rest of us, but having to cling on instead. Poor fella. He must be tired.
