Kyte

Spent part of the day making slow progress on redecorating the bathroom. The deadline imposed by L is of course Christmas. Is there always something that needs finishing for Christmas?

Packed the kids off to Grandma and Grandad's in the afternoon. The evening was the annual Christmas dinner with all of L's friends and their other halves. This was at the Kyte Hotel in Darrington and it was good. Food was good, everyone had a dance and drank extortionately priced beer and wine. The only downside was that L decided that dancing was more important than booking the taxi home so we ended up with an hour wait or walking, so we walked. It was a long walk.

I wonder if I'll embarrass my kids one day with my dancing. Probably is the answer.
