When they said let's go see Donna Nook I pictured
something a bit more slinky and sensual than seals.
It's a beach, a nature reserve, a place where seals
come to give birth.*
There are over a thousand of them there this year.

* It's also an area where the RAF polish up their bombing skills.
They stop when the seals arrive. If they didn't I think there
would be an even bigger fuss than when Jeremy Clarkson said,
on the One Show, that strikers should be shot.
