Butter wouldn't melt...

... actually it did. Rather a lot of it in fact was melted, creamed and rubbed in, to make 24 muffins, 24 fruit buns, 60 white chocolate cookies, 60 dark chocolate cookies, 18 chocolate fork cookies, 12 lemon cupcakes, 30 cinnamon & raisin cookies, 18 'jammie oaties' and 12 pieces of shortbread.

Add to this Grandma's 24 almond tartlets and 2 Victoria sponge cakes and 'best friend's' chocolate chip cookies and Daughter of Mine, with a little help at the cake sales from her brother - the King, has raised £115.86 in the last week for the CAFOD World Gifts appeal.

No wonder the King is smiling...
