Snow Surprise

An early start this morning as Jake was playing for Burnley U9's against Carlisle U10's, away at Penrith. A lovely journey with stunning scenery along the way, snowcapped hills and temperatures which felt far lower than at home.
A day that should have been about the football suddenly turned into something rather special as my sister and husband strolled up, followed swiftly by my brother and his girlfriend-they had all been staying at a guest house 2 miles down the road ! We got rained on, we got snowed on, we got injuries and we got beat! But what a cracking day ! Surprises in the snow :)
