Running repairs
A very succesful weekend for my car.
New battery purchased and fit, tested and topped up my anti-freeze.
Found the problem with my wiper motor, one of the carbon brushes was sticking.
Removed the screw which had dropped into the blower fan, causing it to vibrate.
Rear wheel bearing is on its way, should not be too big a job!
Its MOT time again, fingers crossed for another years ticket.
Also tried to find out why the battery sparks slightly when fitted?
think there may be a capacitor somewhere in the alternator, because the current jumps when connected then drops after half a second to a hundred millianps or so.
Pulled all the fuses, so it can only be on the charging or ignition side.
Maybe the keycode for the ignition key?
