Sunset - Bannockburn

Started the day with frozen feet trying to catch bullfinch, then first of the yellowhammers. Failed miserably despite filling the feeders. Jim, my neighbour, was right, the first cold weather and they are back - well one on a recky to start.

Ended the day on the battlefield at Bannockburn trying to get the glow from the sun behind Robert the Bruce. Slush on the grass was already freezing and my boots were leaking!

Got some shots but have seen better sunsets there.

Home for pot of tea and toasted Veda with butter.

Looks like more snow - so fingers crossed we can get to work tomorrow!
