Tom Goes Beach-combing

It was a lovely clear day today, so I took Tom for one of his, now, increasingly occasional walks.

He loves the beach and I enjoy taking him, but he gets tired so quickly these days. He's not as young as he was (turned 15) and he hasn't got the control of his back legs any more, so just a quick maraud around the closest bit of beach and home again.

It's surprising what Tom finds on his beach-combing forays. Today he found several spaniels, some labradors, quite a lot of terriers and an alsatian.

Amazing what a smell can tell you!
