Fairy Lights

I went to take some photos of the sunset, when walking the dog this afternoon.

I was treated to a majestic aerial display by four Buzzards and five Red Kites that were enjoying the stiff breeze as it rises up from the valley. The evening rays were catching the underside of their wings, but none of my shots did them justice.

However, I rather liked the effect of the sun on the sheep fence, creating some natural fairy lights.

It really was a glorious evening.
