Winter came today!

Out for lunch with a friend and then we walked down by the River Severn where there were diamonds underfoot. A new wetlands area with hide is being built - enormous numbers and variety of birds use the area over winter or stop off there in Spring and Autumn migrations - will have to go back with tripod and flask of hot something. It was high tide this afternoon and only ducks and seagulls were around
